Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL)

The Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) allows fully vaccinated travellers to have quarantine-free travel to Singapore.

The following is the list of countries eligible to enter Singapore via VTL:

VTL Countries/Regions*

Fully vaccinated travellers and any accompanying unvaccinated children below 12 years old, departing from the following countries:

  • Australia, Brunei Darussalam, Canada, Denmark¹, Finland, France², Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, the Netherlands³, the Republic of Korea, Spain⁴, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom⁵ and the United States⁶
  • Thailand (for entry into Singapore from 14 Dec 2021)
  • Cambodia, Fiji, Maldives, Sri Lanka and Turkey (for entry into Singapore from 16 Dec 2021)

Conditions for the Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL)

Travellers will have to fulfil the following conditions to enter Singapore via VTL:

  • All travellers must be fully vaccinated with a WHO EUL vaccine at least 2 weeks before arrival in Singapore and must have valid proof of vaccination issued in any VTL country/region or Singapore (e.g. the PeduliLindungi app for those vaccinated in Indonesia, or TraceTogegther/HealthHub app for those vaccinated in Singapore)
  • Have only travelled to / transited via VTL countries/regions, Category I countries/regions and/or Singapore, in the last 14 consecutive days before departing for Singapore
  • Foreign travellers must apply for a Vaccinated Travel Pass (VTP) to enter Singapore.
  • VTP applications must be made at least 7 days prior to the intended date of arrival in Singapore. There is no quota on VTPs issued for air travel but due to the high volume of VTP applications, applicants can only apply up to 13 days (subject to changes) prior to the intended date of arrival in Singapore (e.g. An application on 25 November 2021 is only valid for a traveller who intend to enter Singapore between 2 December 2021 and 8 December 2021, both dates inclusive)
  • Must be travelling to Singapore on a designated Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) flight
  • Foreign travellers must purchase travel insurance with a minimum coverage of S$30,000 for COVID-19 related treatment and hospitalisation costs in Singapore prior to travel
  • All travellers, except those aged 2 and below in this calendar year, must undergo an on-arrival PCR test in Singapore and self-isolate until the release of a negative test result
  • Accommodation must be secured for post-arrival self-isolation until the release of a negative on-arrival PCR test result (if staying in hotel, please refer to this list of VTL hotels)
  • All travellers, except those aged 2 and below in this calendar year, must undergo a COVID-19 polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test or a professionally-administered Antigen Rapid Test (ART) at an internationally accredited or recognised laboratory, clinic, or medical facility within 2 days before departure to Singapore.

    Please ensure that the test report:

    • Is in English (or accompanied with an English translation)
    • Contains the traveller’s name, and either date of birth or passport number (as per the passport used to travel to Singapore); and
    • Reflects the date and time the test was taken, the name of the testing institution, and a negative COVID-19 test result; and
    • Is not handwritten
  • All travellers should submit an online SG Arrival Card within 3 days before departing for Singapore
  • All travellers should have a mobile device with the TraceTogether app already downloaded and with their profile registered on the app
  • Unvaccinated children aged 12 or under (in the current calendar year) may enter Singapore under the VTL, but they must comply with all other VTL conditions and be accompanied by a fully vaccinated VTL traveller
  • Visitors who require a visa for travel to Singapore must separately obtain a valid visa after receiving VTP approval
