Knee Arthroscopy

  • What is Knee Arthroscopy?

Arthroscopy is a surgical procedure of the knee to repair or replace a damaged meniscus (the C-shaped discs that cushion the knee). Meniscal repair is a relatively simple procedure that can be done by arthroscopic surgery (keyhole surgery). Knee arthroscopy can be done as an outpatient procedure (day surgery) so you will go home on the same day.

  • Arthroscopy is the best way to treat many knee injuries, including meniscal tear. The small wounds from the arthroscopy are less painful and leave minimal scarring, as compared to open surgery

  • At Parkway East Hospital, you can look forward to receive treatment in a warm and comforting environment. Our friendly staff and specialists are here to see you through each step of your journey towards recovery.
