Dr Sheldon Lee is a cardiologist at Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore.
His subspecialties are heart failure, non-invasive cardiac imaging and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging. He treats heart attack (myocardial infarction) and heart failure.
Prior to starting private practice, Dr Lee was senior consultant at Changi General Hospital (CGH). He was the former director of the heart failure programme at the hospital.
He graduated from the National University of Singapore. He then obtained membership of the Royal College of Physicians, UK. He went for a fellowship in advanced heart failure management at St Vincent’s Hospital, Australia and completed another fellowship in cardiac magnetic resonance imaging at the Royal Brompton Hospital, UK. He has been practising medicine for more than 20 years.
Besides his clinical work, Dr Lee is a senior clinical lecturer at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, clinical assistant professor in the SingHealth Duke-NUS cardiovascular sciences academic clinical programme, and core faculty in SingHealth’s cardiology senior residency programme. He is also a cardiology representative in the pharmacy and therapeutics committee, and member of the heart failure service improvements subcommittee.
