Q: What motivated you to become a doctor, and how did you decide to become a paediatrician?

I have always found it rewarding to be able to treat the patients and help to alleviate their suffering. It’s very satisfying to see them recover. I like children and I find them very adorable.

Q: What kind of conditions do you treat, or specialise in treating?

I treat children who are sick, and those who need vaccinations & developmental assessment. I also have a special interest in paediatrics nephrology, the study and treatment of kidney problems in children.

Q: Could you share your philosophy in treating patients?

I believe every child should have access to a paediatrician. The fees should also be reasonable and come with good service.

Q: How does a typical day look like for you working as a paediatrician?

I will attend to inpatients early in the morning before I go to my clinic. I can get called to the hospital's Accident & Emergency Department at any time when they have children that are sick.

They are many cases, in particular are children that have seen many doctors for their high fever but did not get better.
