Experience

Dr Richard Chew obtained his MBBS from the National University of Singapore in 1975 and his Master of Medicine (Surgery) in 1979. That same year, he became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh and Glasgow. He has been a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine Singapore since 1984. Dr Chew was a visiting Fellow at Department of Surgery Tokyo University Hospital and Japan Cancer Centre in 1981 and was practising at the National University Hospital Singapore before entering private practice in 1987.
