Dr Raymond Kwah is a Consultant Dermatologist who specialises in skin cancers screening and management, including Mohs Micrographic surgery in Singapore, in addition to general dermatology, aesthetic dermatology, dermatology surgery and laser procedures.
Dr Kwah was formerly a Dermatologist and Mohs Micrographic Surgeon at the Singapore National Skin Centre, where he was not only an integral member of the Skin Cancer unit and Dermatology surgery unit but also one of the lead surgeons providing Mohs Micrographic surgery, in addition to aesthetic and laser procedures. He was also the visiting consultant and Mohs Micrographic surgeon at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital and Singapore General Hospital.
Prior to setting up Dermatology & Surgery Clinic, he was a Consultant Dermatologist at Raffles Hospital. There he pioneered and established Mohs Micrographic surgery services and was involved in the outpatient and inpatient management of paediatric, pregnancy, occupational and travel related skin diseases.
Dr Kwah graduated from NUS in 1999 and obtained his Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (UK) in 2002. Upon completion of his specialist training in dermatology, he was awarded a one-year fellowship training in skin cancer management and Mohs Micrographic surgery at the Royal Victoria Infirmary, UK, a premier skin cancer centre. He subsequently underwent hair transplant training at Kyungpook National University Hospital, South Korea, a renown centre for hair transplant training and surgery in South Korea.
Dr Kwah has published extensively, focussing on Mohs micrographic surgery, and has been invited to present at a variety of scientific meetings. Dr Kwah had been actively involved in the training of both medical students and fellow doctors. He continues to be involved in teaching fellow doctors and is currently appointed by Allergan as an advanced trainer for Botulinum toxin and fillers injections for Asia-Pacific region and is also an invited reviewer for international peer-reviewed journals.
Dr Kwah is a member of the Dermatological Society of Singapore, the Chapter of Dermatology, College of Physicians (Singapore), and a conferred Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore (Dermatology), Member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons (Glasgow) and Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (Edinburgh).
