Experience

Dr Lin Heng An is an orthopaedic surgeon at Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore.

His specialty interests include sports-related injuries, arthroscopic surgeries and ligament/multi-ligament reconstructions.

Dr Lin graduated from the National University of Singapore and completed his specialist training in orthopaedic surgery in Singapore. After obtaining the Health Manpower Development Plan award, he completed a year-long fellowship in sports medicine at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Canada. He also served as the fellow physician for the NBA G-League team, Raptors 905 during that time. He is a fellow of the Academy of Medicine Singapore, the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh), UK and the Arthroscopy Association of Canada.

Before joining private practice, Dr Lin was a clinical assistant professor at Duke-NUS Medical School and was involved in teaching junior doctors, orthopaedic surgery residents and family medicine trainees. He has been practising medicine for more than 15 years.

Dr Lin is currently the chief team physician for the Singapore Slingers.

He is a member of the Singapore Orthopaedic Association and the Singapore Medical Association.

He is a recipient of the SingHealth Service with a Heart Award, Long Service Award, Singapore Health Quality Service Awards and SKH You Sparkle! Awards.
