Dr Sujit Singh Gill is a general surgeon at Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore.
He specialises in peripheral arterial disease management and minimally invasive limb salvage techniques such as angioplasty with drug-eluting balloons and stents.
He is also experienced in diabetic vascular disease and leg ulcer management, arteriovenous fistula creation/graft/fistulogram for end-stage renal failure patients, varicose vein disease, hernia repair, gall bladder disease, and gastroscopy/colonoscopy.
Dr Gill graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS). He undertook postgraduate training at the Singapore General Hospital (SGH) and obtained his master’s degree in general surgery also from NUS and subsequently, fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK. He further honed his skills at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Australia. He returned to SGH and completed his research on abdominal aneurysms.
He served as a clinical mentor to medical students and regularly conducted forums to general practitioners and the public in Singapore, Russia, Indonesia, Malaysia and Myanmar. Dr Gill has also travelled to provide medical aid in the region in times of crisis.
